Kate stayed here with her children in July 2005: "This is a resort hotel with its spa facilities, golf and focus on children.
Both the standard rooms and the deluxe suites are spacious and well-equipped with internet access, TV (with video options), telephone, tea/coffee facilities, writing desk and minibar. Each has a balcony or patio overlooking either the pool area or the golf course & lagoon.
They have extended their excellent spa and now have an indoor pool with Jacuzzi, two saunas, two steam rooms, brine pool, sun room, extensive gym as well as all the treatment rooms. No children under 12 yeas in the Spa area.
They’ve also extended their children’s programme and there were a lot of children staying at the hotel. There’s a supervised children’s playroom in the garden with games and also a choice of childrens’ films. They have special children events during the peak season. Another plus is the heated outdoor pool which was very well utilised on the warm sunny winter’s day when we were there.
The informal restaurant food was delicious with a children’s menu. My only gripe was that the drinks are relatively expensive." |
