Kirkman's Camp has recently been acquired by Conservation Corporation Africa. However, true to its long standing tradition it continues to offer excellent service and game-viewing. The camp is named after Harry Kirkman one of South Africa's first conservationists. The elegant Kirkman's is on an elevated site overlooking the Sand River with glorious views of the bushveld. The lodge oozes with old colonial charm, reminiscent of a traditional 1920's safari camp. The 18 air-conditioned bedrooms are simple, spacious and attractive with verandas overlooking the riverbed whilst a stylish rimflow pool, tennis court and gym adds to your enjoyment.

We recommend Kirkmans for its superb game-viewing and evocative traditional safari style. One of our consultants will gladly help you with any further questions you may have.
Mr and Mrs Kumaria stayed here in Feb 2008: " It was very good, not a good as Vuyatela but then Andy reminded me it wasn't in the same price bracket!! You get awfully picky when the places you can stay are all of such good quality with such welcoming and friendly service!! Kirkman's had some lovely touches like champagne buckets in the trees and breakfast on safari!! What can I say. Saw leopards mating...apparently very rare!"
