Overview

Maramboi Tented Camp is a permanent luxury camp, close to the Tarangire National Park. The rooms are elevated on a wooden platform with thatched roofing, with beautiful views of the surrounding rolling golden grasslands and palm tree desert. Maramboi Tented Camp is also situated near Lake Manyara with magnificent views of the Great Rift Valley in the background. The camp is ideally situated to explore and experience both the Tarangire National Park and Lake Manyara.

Accommodation at Maramboi Tented Camp consists of 38 Suites built on a raised platform. There are also 6 Family Rooms, ideally suited for families with children. Both the Suites and Family Rooms have a private veranda.

The camp has electricity from the main electric supplier, solar panels and with a generator as a backup.

The nearest airstrips to Maramboi Tented Camp is Tarangire or Lake Manyara which are both 1 hour away.

Activities

Activities include game drives in Tarangire National Park, bird-watching on the nearby shores of Lake Manyara, guided nature walks or take a refreshing dip in the pool. Cultural activities include a visit a boma (village) of the local Datoga or Masai tribes.

Spacious room with beautiful views to the Rift Valley. Suite rooms include sitting space, private veranda with terrace furniture. All tents are en-suite with built-in showers, ceiling fan with extra free standing fan, mosquito nets, views overlooking the Great Rift Valley and Manyara Lake.
