Leopard Hills remains one of my favorite lodges in the Sabi Sands. Basically it ticks all the boxes for me: Stunning hillside location, really lovely suites with private plunge pools, lots of public room space so that you can also find a quiet place to read and relax. Plus it’s far enough into the reserve to escape seeing the lights of the nearby village .
So its only real disadvantage is that it shares traversing rights with other lodges in the Western Sabi Sands. (Namely Uulsaba, Dulini, Inyati, Idube and Savanna). Personally this wasn’t a major factor for me but it did mean that you saw safari vehicles from other lodges as you were on safari. Some may feel that this makes it slightly less exclusive?
