Overview

Offbeat Meru Camp is a traditional camp with all the luxuries of home...stunning interiors, amazing hosting, delicious food and experienced guides to show you a wealth of wildlife the likes of which you have never seen before.

This stunning location overlooks the Bisanadi River with beautiful riverine forest.  Meru National Park is one of Kenya's most magical areas away from the masses hosting all of the 'Big Five' plus outstanding birding. This park is one that has been long forgotten by the mass tourism trade and thus is a little 'diamond in the rough'. With a wealth of wildlife ranging from lions to rhino and a myriad of activities including fishing in the Bisanadi and Tana Rivers, there is never a dull moment at Offbeat Meru Camp.

The Camp

Accommodation is in 6 twin or double tented rooms with en suite shower room with flush toilets and a traditional safari (bucket) shower. This is a determinedly 'old school' approach to the safari with lots of emphasis on simple comfort to maximise the enjoyment of the bush.
