The rooms at the Last Word Franschhoek are some of the largest and most well-appointed in the town of Franschhoek. These are quite classically decorated and so they would suit many people. Each has a dressing area, sizeable bathroom and either an outside terrace or balcony. Two of the rooms actually have their own small splash pool.
The main areas are spacious and well-furnished with a lounge, honesty bar and dining room. There’s a small sun room which opens directly out onto the (small) swimming pool. And I do mean directly. Upstairs there is a sun deck with lovely views to the surrounding mountains.
My only concern is that it is a small property and they have used every inch of space that they have. I feel that the almost year round three nights for two make it an attractive option if staying three nights (Not available from late December to February.)
