One&Only Le Saint Geran Hotel

Very much a Mauritian by-word for luxury and sophistication, One&Only Le Saint Geran is located on its own private peninsula of white sandy beach on the Mauritius East coast at Belle Mare.  The hotel is surrounded by 60 acres of tropical gardens - with the Indian Ocean on one side and a coral sheltered lagoon on the other surrounded by two kilometres of secluded, white-sand beach. The hotel is situated near the site of the Le Saint Geran shipwreck, from where its name is derived.

One&Only Le Saint Geran comprises of 166 suites and a sumptuous villa. Each room has a private terrace or balcony facing the ocean or cove, making the most of its fantastic location. All rooms offer mini-bar, Nespresso machine, safe, air-conditioning, in-room multimedia/entertainment system, satellite TV, DVD/CD player, iPod docking station and WiFi.

Dining options range from the ocean front La Terrasse for local and international haute cuisine, Prime Contemporary Grill serving the good old steak house favourites and Paul & Virginie offering tropical seafood by the beach.

Families

Children of all ages are well looked after at One&Only Le Saint Geran as there is a full-on Kids Only club offering a range of facilities including supervised themed activity programmes following a shipwreck theme, a movie room, computer room, arts and crafts area, swimming pool in the large playground and play grass area. Budding gardeners will have a great time playing mini-gardeners in the Garden programme. Naturally, the cuisine is also tailored to kids with special menus and children are encouraged to mix and match their dishes to create their own treasure box.

Activities on offer are all that you would expect: Golf on the 9-hole Gary Player-designed golf course, the 18th member of the David Leadbetter Golf Academy; five tennis courts; a variety of water sports including scuba diving, deep-sea fishing, kite surfing and many others.

For relaxation at the resort, treat yourself to a visit to the spa. Partnered with ESPA, the spa offers eight treatment rooms for body and facial treatments, sauna and steam rooms, lap pool and beauty centre. If you are feeling more energetic, there is also a high tech fitness centre available.
