The guest rooms reflect modern contemporary decor combined with old-world luxury with a choice of Garden, Superior or Luxury Rooms, some with private pools.

Luxury rooms with pools are luxurious cottages with private plunge pools (heated on request), DVD players and patios overlooking the valley and Magaliesberg hills. Other Luxury rooms are styishly furnished and spacious with dvd players and large balconies with glorious views of the forested kloof. Superior rooms are dotted around the gardens and are stylishly decorated with lovely fabrics, whilst Garden rooms are first floor rooms decorated with fresh country prints and thatch roofs.

Dining is available on the terrace, in the casual Copperfield room or in the contemporary a la carte restaurant.

What to do at Mount Grace?

Relaxation comes so easily here in this tranquil setting, that you may find it difficult to stir from the wonderful surroundings. However we recommend sampling at least of the wide range of activities on offer such as bird watching, tennis, swimming, mountain biking, trout fishing as well as a range of walking trails with the indigenous gardens and surrounding bushveld.

There’s plenty on offer nearby such as the Cradle of Humankind world heritage site, Maropeng, hot air ballooning, visits to the Elephant Sanctuary or the Treetop Canopy tours. There’s lots to keep you occupied for 2 or 3 days easily. The Mount Grace Country House is only one hour's drive from Johannesburg (1½ hours from the airport).
