Black Rhino Game Lodge is a hidden treasure set amongst the trees of an old Tamboti forest in the Pilanesberg National Park. Pilanesberg lies at the foot of an ancient volcanic crater and is home to a wide variety of general game including the Big 5, in addition both species of rhino occur, namely black and white, and cheetah and wild dog.
From Black Rhino Game Lodge, accompanied by your personal game ranger, you will be able explore a 58,000ha malaria free wildlife reserve and discover the magic of the African bush. Located in the west side of the Malaria-free Pilanesberg National Park, and only 33km from Sun City - Black Rhino Game Lodge is the ideal option for adding a safari to a Sun City stay.
The lodge overlooks a busy waterhole, which is a hive of bird and animal activity, and a playground for the elephant. On many occasions, the stillness of the night is broken by the roaring of lions, and the Francolin sings the morning wake-up call.

Black Rhino Game Lodge welcomes children who can share with parents. Children from six years and older can join the game drives.
Being in a malaria-free reserve, Black Rhino is a family-friendly lodge. It accepts kids from 6 years upwards, and sometimes younger kids at the rangers discretion. However there is no kids programme of activities so its ideal for families who want to spend time together as a family unit. Rooms can take two extra kids sleeping with parents.
