Etosha Oberland Lodge

Etosha Oberland Lodge is a relatively new lodge (with the misfortune of opening in March 2020). It lies very close to the Andersson Gate into the central Etosha National Park, in its own private nature park.

This luxurious lodge offers an inviting lobby, restaurant and bar with an adjoining lounge with fire pit. To enhance the experience, you can enjoy the viewing deck and swimming pool as well as complimentary wifi in communal areas.

The main area and restaurant of the Lodge is nestled in a wild, ancient “garden” and is surrounded by big trees. When entering the open lobby area with the bar and outside seating area, the view immediately wanders into the wide open space and chances are high to spot the first animals in the distance.

Etosha Oberland is conveniently situated a 10km drive from the Andersson Gate, south of Etosha National Park – a good starting point for excursions in the Park with exciting game viewing experiences. Activities offered by the lodge include a guided 4x4 safari excursion into Etosha National Park. Your guide has in depth knowledge of wildlife in the area. Departure times varies seasonally, depending on park opening hours, with a return around 2 to 4pm. The trips last for approximately 7-8 hrs.

The accommodation comprises of 18 beautifully appointed and spacious chalets with en-suite bathroom, outdoor shower, private sun terrace complete with comfy chairs.
