Overview
Ivory Tree Game Lodge is situated in the north eastern region of the Pilanesberg National Park. It is nestled in the basin of an ancient amphitheatre divided by riverine woodlands and elephant trails.
The main lodge includes a stunning rock swimming pool and pool bar, dining room, boma, reception and curio shop. Small intimate guest areas have been created to retain warmth and seclusion as Ivory Tree is quite a large game lodge. Sweeping patios are the perfect place for delicious breakfasts and light luncheons whilst the boma is reserved for fire-side dinners.
Ivory Tree Game Lodge has 60 double suites and 4 executive rooms, located on the edges of the amphitheatre basin, each with full en suite bathroom with outdoor shower, climate-control air-conditioning, minibar and tea/coffee facilities.
Game viewing at Ivory Tree Lodge
Ivory Tree uses custom-built 10 seater open game-viewing vehicles which give maximum all around visibility on the morning and evening game drives. Pilanesberg Game Reserve is home to a wide variety of general game including the Big 5, in addition both black and white rhino occur, as well as cheetah and wild dog. You are assigned a personal ranger for your game drives, who will help you to interpret the sights and sounds of the African bush. Your guide will spend time with you at dinner as well, and is always around to ensure that you are comfortable during your stay.
Children are welcome and may share a room with parents. Children over 6 years will be permitted on game drives (at the discretion of the ranger.)
The award winning wellness centre, with its uninterrupted views of the reserve, offers a wide variety of treatments designed to relax mind, body and soul.

60 twin bedded suites, some of which can be converted into a king-size bed configuration. Each suite features a covered patio area, with en-suite bathroom and outside shower. The suites include mini bar fridge (stocked on request), tea & coffee facility and climate control air conditioners.
Luxury suite
4 suites, all of which include king-sized beds in the main bedroom and an adjoining lounge area with satellite TV, and convertable couches able to accommodate two children. Each suite features a covered patio area, with en-suite bathroom and outside shower. The suites include mini bar fridge (stocked on request), tea & coffee facility, climate control air conditioners and a splash pool.
Executive suite
1 suite, with a king-sized bed in the open plan layout lounge area with satellite TV, a covered patio area, with en-suite bathroom and inside shower. The suite a include mini bar fridge (stocked on request), tea & coffee facility, climate control air conditioner and a splash pool.
Family Suite
1 Family suite with two rooms and a lounge. The master room has a king-size bed and the adjoining room for the kiddies has two single beds and then a lounge area with satellite TV.
