Lukimbi Safari Lodge

Lukimbi is is a 15,000 ha. private concession in the easily accessible southern portion of the Kruger National Park.

The Lukimbi Safari Lodge welcomes you with high ceilings, its sweeping staircase and artistic fireplace with creatively engraved animals. Below the lodge is a beautiful pool with a waterfall, Jacuzzi rock pool.  There's a library with internet access, the tasteful lounge overlooks the Lwakahle River where animals often come to drink. And the bar nearby has an award-winning wine list and cellar. As well as a gym and separate children's playroom. Another strength is their excellent cuisine served in a variety of settings. The boma, around the pool or perhaps an intimate candlelit dinner on the deck at Lukimbi Safari Lodge.

The spacious suites have a sunken sitting room. A luxurious bathroom with a huge oval stone bath offering bush-veld views. As well as an outside shower. There's also a private deck, air-conditioning, fans, minibars and tea/coffee facilities. Moreover 2 suites have private plunge pools, dining room and second bathroom.

Families at Lukimbi

Lukimbi is geared towards older children of 8 to 12. Kids of 8 years upwards can join the adult game drive. Younger kids can join their parents if a private vehicle is booked. Some kids activities are offered such as plant and bug identication around the lodge, casting spoor (tracks), marshmallow roasting on the open fire and target practise with trained rangers. There is a play room with games, wildlife movies and toys but it is not supervised.
