Situated in the very heart of this game rich and unexplored conservancy, on the edge of the Masai Mara in Kenya, the exclusive 9 tented Naboisho Camp offers some of the richest wilderness experiences in the area. The Naboisho Conservancy (a 50,000 acre area) that lies to the far east of the Mara/Serengeti Eco system the camp unlocks the much sought after access to a fresh region. The experience presents the experienced team from Rekero a chance to push the boundaries of the wilderness experience.
Set in an acacia forest looking out over a glade the camp has a view over traditional Mara terrain that flows each day with the movement of game. The tents are the latest in traditional design providing a private closed veranda area, backed by a large bedroom and a huge washroom. The washroom leads out to an outdoor shower that is open to the savannah skies. The rooms are fully plumbed with flush toilets. The camps award winning chefs create bush food to compliment the stunning location and the sometimes active days.
It is an area where the guides, under the guidance of Jackson Looseyia, can explore at will without the neighbouring national park limitations and can really excel as the natural guardians of the land. Activities, as at its sister camp, Rekero, are very much tailored to the guests with night drives, walking and cultural visits a daily event. It is a wilderness that shares not only some of the highest density of predators but also the fewest visitors anywhere in the Masai Mara, promising to make this the destination of choice in one of the world’s most sought after wildlife arenas.
