Olive Grove Guesthouse is one of our favourite guest houses to stay at in Windhoek - a stylish contemporary 11 room guest house close to the city centre but in a quiet and peaceful location.

Olive Grove Guesthouse has a small swimming pool set in a courtyard garden, sun loungers under shade and a large terrace, which is ideal for alfresco meals. Inside there's a comfortable lounge, with a computer with internet access if needed, and open plan kitchen. One charming feature of Olive Grove Guesthouse is the secluded Jacuzzi on the balcony, which is a great way to relax on your first evening on holiday in Namibia.

Accommodation

Rooms are spacious with a simple North African influence and earthy décor. There’s a choice of standard or luxury rooms and one executive suite. They are all decorated with wrought iron furniture and soft natural colours. Some of the Superior rooms have funky bathrooms incorporating organic oversize baths. Standard rooms are smaller with more classically elegant furnishings. All have satellite television, air-conditioning, minibar, safe, tea/coffee facilities and kimonos. Each opens out onto a spacious veranda with tables and chairs under shade.

Another plus for Olive Grove guesthouse is that, though there are plenty of good restaurants nearby, lunch and dinner are available which is great if you just want to use your time in Namibia to relax. The new a la carte menu offers well-presented dishes using fresh ingredients. The upper deck has been revamped into a private dining area, with two Moroccan-style sections where you can enjoy the ambience and view. Other facilities include a small spa room with a selection of treatments, laundry service and bar.

Children of all ages are welcome at Olive Grove.
