Overview

Rra Dinare is set in a private concession, adjacent to Moremi Game reserve on the south-eastern side of the Delta, overlooking the Gomoti River and its flood plains. The camp has been designed to embrace the natural surroundings of the riverine forest.

Parades of elephants are regulars to the panoramic floodplains of the Gomoti River, as are lechwe and the large buffalo herds after which this thrilling area is named. Ebbing waterways of the Gomoti River feed luscious grasslands and this territory contains critical dry season watering points, so game-viewing is great year-round.

Day and night game drives take place within the private concession. These are on and off road safaris, comprising six guests, a guide and a tracker (at night). Rra Dinare also offers seasonal water activities on the Gomoti river and game walks are available depending on local conditions.

Each of the eight spacious tents overlooking the Gomoti River floodplains allow for game viewing from the private deck or lounge area. The central thatched areas have been built open, allowing guests to relax while watching wildlife and birds from the comfort of an armchair or the bar. The swimming pool and curio shop complete the luxurious, relaxed feel. The camp also features a dining area where meals are taken family-style.

Rra Dinare provides an authentic experience of Africa's extraordinary wilds hosted by the people who live there. The Sankuyo community directly benefits from your visit. Over 60 employees at the Dinare camps are from the Sankuyo village and further proceeds support local development.  Rra Dinare is 100% eco-friendly and features the latest solar and waste technology.
