Satrana Lodge

Satrana Lodge is a new 3 star luxury tented camp, just at the entrance to the Isalo National Park. The tented lodge blends well into its environment of rolling savanna grasslands with sandstone koppies. The main lodge has a large restaurant , library and bar with large picture windows to frame the views to the surrounding mountains. Outside is a stylish , good-sized swimming pool integrated into the granite rocks. Its sun loungers offer the perfect place to relax after a morning of walking in Isalo National Park.

Each of the Meru-styled en suite tents under thatch offers you a safari ambience. Each is set on a raised platform and nicely furnished with wooden floors, writing desk, full length mirror and safe. The bathroom has a double vanity and both indoor and outdoor showers. Your deck is a wonderful place to relax and enjoy the views across the Horombe plains.

As well as excursions into Isalo, Satrana lodge also offers quad biking on its own grounds and a walk to their natural spring.
