Shepherd’s Tree Game Lodge lies within the heart of the malaria free Pilanesberg Game Reserve, only two hour’s drive from Johannesburg. This 5 star contemporary game lodge offers a gourmet restaurant, open entertainment decks, cigar lounge, Amani Spa and outdoor cocktail bar that overlooks a spectacular rim-flow swimming pool.

Accommodation comprises 25 spacious standard rooms which all have air-conditioning, tea/coffee facilities, mini-bar, safe and full en suite bathroom with outdoor shower. There are also several family rooms which comprise two bedrooms sharing a common lounge with a small kitchenette. These can also be used for two couples travelling together. Finally there are also 4 more luxurious executive suites.

Families

Children from 6 years & upwards can join the adult drive.  If you opt to take a private vehicle then younger kids can enjoy a shorter 'bumble drive' after breakfast with their parents. They have two bedroom family suites or 1 child can also share with parents in the standards. Plus some rooms are inter-leading. However there is no kids programme of activities at Shepherd’s Tree Game Lodge (in a non-malaria area) suits families who want to spend as much time together as possible.
