Teremok Marine Lodge is a luxurious five star boutique lodge, nestled amongst the palm and giant milkwood trees close to the beach at Umhlanga Rocks, just 20 minutes north of Durban on the ‘Dolphin Coast’ of KwaZulu Natal.

Outside, the lodge has a lush sub-tropical garden with a good sized swimming pool (which is floodlit at night), as well as a fully equipped gym, small spa with two treatment rooms and the beach is only 300 metres away. There are two bicycles available if you want to explore the area by bike. Umhlanga Rocks is ideal for relaxing at the beach, visiting the Valley of 1000 Hills or exploring the Indian markets or botanical gardens of Durban, only 20 minutes away. King Shaka airport is an easy 20 to 30 minutes away so Teremok Marine is the ideal overnight stay if you have an early morning flight.

Accommodation

Meticulous attention to detail has gone into the 8 individually designed bedrooms. Each of the spacious bedrooms has its own balcony with views over the Indian Ocean or parklike gardens. The romantic bedrooms are extremely well appointed with extra length beds, ceiling fan, air-conditioning and a large open plan bathroom with huge bath, separate shower and separate toilet room. Teremok Marine prides itself on little extras such as individual scent, mood-music and evening confectionary. There’s a flat screen TV and DVD player with a selection of DVDs available.
