Twiga Safari Lodge

Twiga Safari Lodge provides comfortable accommodation in the serene and relaxing environment of Uganda’s wildlife. On site, guests are able see monkeys and various birds freely moving through the grounds of the lodge. Additionally, Twiga Safari Lodge provides a scenic vantage point for viewing Uganda’s wildlife lounging in the river during the day and grazing on the land at night.

Twiga Safari Lodge has 8 exclusive cottages situated on the bank of the river Nile in Mubaako Paraa, opposite the Murchison Falls National Park. The lodge is located at the heart of all the activities carried out in the park and is a 5 minute drive away from the Paraa ferry crossing. Guests can enjoy a boat ride or hike to the famous Murchison Falls, go fishing, bird watch at the Lake Albert delta, and embark on game drives through the national park across the river.

The design of the cottages fuses camping tents with African thatched cottages elevated off the ground. This provides a heightened experience with nature in which guests can hear and view animals from the safety and comfort of their cottage.

Twiga Safari Lodge restaurant serves continental meals and has a well-stocked bar with a wide range of beverages to be enjoyed with excellent service and a breathtaking view of the Nile.
