Victoria Falls Safari Lodge is a stylish yet relaxing bush lodge in a stunning setting on the edge of the Zambezi National Park. it lies just 4 km from the thundering Victoria Falls on the Zimbabwe side. But, unlike other lodges, it has its own waterhole so that you can enjoy game viewing right from the lodge. So you can watch the breathtaking African sunset and view the game coming to drink from your private balcony, the pool deck or the restaurant.

This newly restyled lodge is a testament to eco-friendly design and prides itself on exceptional dining. The candlelit boma is a particular treat. Each of the 66 rooms and six suites is decorated in colourful Zimbabwe style and faces this sublime bush panorama.

Victoria Falls Safari Lodge has 51 standard bedrooms with glass doors out to a private balcony overlooking the park. Each has a full bathroom with bath and shower, telephone, air-conditioning, ceiling fan, safe and mosquito nets. The 15 water-hole facing rooms rooms are slightly larger with prime positions overlooking the waterhole as well as a minibar. Five rooms can accommodate an extra child. The six suites are on two levels with a sunken lounge leading out to the private balcony. An open staircase leads to the bedroom and spacious en suite bathroom with Jacuzzi bath. Binoculars and nature books are available to appreciate the beautiful views across the game reserve.

Facilities at Victoria Falls Safari Lodge

Victoria Falls Safari Lodge also has a stylish bar with a game viewing platform, a restaurant with views over the waterhole and an intimate library. There are two dining options. The MaKuwa-Kuwa restaurant overlooking the waterhole. Whilst The Boma offers a festive African-style feast with entertainment.

Activities

Activities on offer include the daily vulture culture experience and the hide for keen birders. The Safari Spa offers a variety of treatments including aromatherapy, reflexology, massages, beauty & body treatments and sauna. A courtesy bus runs every hour and takes you to and from Victoria Falls, just five minutes away. Victoria Falls Safari Lodge has been voted Zimbabwe’s Best Safari Lodge for 17 years in succession by the Association of Zimbabwe Travel Agents.

Lodge Standard Room

The Victoria Falls Safari Lodge Standard Rooms all have a balcony with a view overlooking the Zambezi National Park. The rooms are furnished with double or twin beds and have an en-suite bathroom with a rain shower and mini bar. All rooms are air-conditioned and also have ceiling fans.

Lodge Waterhole Facing Rooms

The Lodge Waterhole Facing Rooms have a balcony with a view overlooking the waterhole and the Zambezi National Park and are sunset facing and have a bathroom with a rain shower and mini bar. Three of the Lodge Waterhole Facing Rooms can accommodate a roller bed for a child under 12 years of age. These rooms can be made up into a king or twin configuration. All rooms are air-conditioned and also have ceiling fans.

Lodge Waterhole Facing Suite

Duplex with entrance lobby leading into sunken lounge and balcony with a view overlooking the waterhole and Zambezi National Park. Sunset Facing. Complimentary mini bar stocked with beer, wine, soft drinks and beer. There is a a guest toilet off the lobby and open plan staircase leading up to the bedroom which has an en-suite bathroom with separate bath and shower. All rooms are air-conditioned with ceiling fans in the bedroom and lounge. A roller bed for a child under 12 years can be prepared in the lounge of the suite.
