It visits the dunes of Sossusvlei and the Namib Desert, Damaraland and finally Etosha National Park. It’s ideal for those who don't have much time. And want to see some of the highlights of this vast desert country. The scenic flights between the lodges are very much part of the whole experience. You fly over some of the most desolate, but hauntingly beautiful places in Namibia.

Best of Namibia Fly-in Safari at a Glance

• Light aircraft flight from Windhoek to Sossusvlei, 2 nights Kulala Desert Lodge, Fully Inclusive. Upgrade option is Little Kulala.
• Fly onto Damaraland, 2 nights Doro Nawa Camp, Fully Inclusive. Upgrade option is Damaraland Camp.
• Fly onto Etosha, 2 nights Ongava Lodge or Ongava Tented Camp, Fully Inclusive.

Departures are daily from Windhoek and the great thing is that you can tailor-make your itinerary by adding in extra nights in any of the camps. Or by adding a couple of nights in Swakopmund in between Sossusvlei and Damaraland.

The only thing that cannot be changed is the direction of the routing from Windhoek to Sossusvlei to Swakopmund to Damaraland to Ongava and back to Windhoek. But you can add on a few nights at the wild and romantic Serra Cafema Camp in the northern reaches of the Skeleton Coast, or at Hoanib camp in the midst of the Skeleton Coast. The Red Carpet version uses different camps: Little Kulala and Damaraland Camp (see below for more info).

A visit to this unique remote setting is never cheap but its definitely a bucket list option! This short time-frame also means that you can combine Namibia with either South Africa or Botswana (though to see two countries always takes longer than you might think).
