Overview
Moremi Game Reserve * Okavango Delta (water camp) * Savute Channel * Victoria Falls
This 10 night Classic Botswana Safari combines 3 of the prime safari destinations of Botswana - the Okavango Delta, the Savute Channel in the Chobe National Park. It then ends with 2 nights at Victoria Falls
This safari starts in Maun and ends in Victoria Falls, though the routing can be reversed. You fly into Maun and connect by charter flight to the glorious Moremi Game Reserve adjacent to the Okavango Delta. Here you experience predominantly land-based activities though game-viewing by boat is also an option. Next you head deep into the Okavango delta where you will experience the water-based safari activities including mokoros, boat-based game-viewing and also bush walks!
Then you head to Savute Safari Lodge in the Savuti channel region - the predator capital of Botswana for three nights. Finally you fly to Kasane and continue by road to Victoria Falls for 2 nights at Ilala Lodge in a deluxe room. Here you can explore the Falls under your own steam as it is walking distance from the hotel. But we have included a luxurious sunset cruise on the Zambezi River. We will discuss what other activities suit you.
Classic Botswana Safari with Victoria Falls at a Glance (10 nights):

- 2 nights in a water-based lodge in the Delta: Camp Okavango or Camp Xugana (shown in this sample itinerary), Fully Inclusive
- 3 nights in Chobe National Park: Savute Safari Lodge, Fully Inclusive
- Fly to Kasane and continue by road to Victoria Falls (1.5 hours) for 2 nights at Ilala Lodge including a luxury sunset boat cruise.
Tailor-make this Safari
We can change some of the camps used in your safari without much change in price. For example, if you are interested in birding or tiger-fishing, then you may prefer to swap out the Water-based lodge in the Delta for Nxamaseri Island Camp in the delta's panhandle. From here you can also enjoy a fascinating visit to the Tsodilo Hills with its collection of over 2,000 rock art paintings.
Or you may prefer to go to Leroo La Tau to see the Zebra migration, the second largest migration in Africa. Or you can opt for Chobe Game Lodge (for a small discount of $300 pp) which is on the Chobe River.
And - if you simply can't choose - why not add on 1-2 nights in order to stay at four different safari regions? (Technically, you can stay at 4 different camps for 2 nights each but it may be too tiring so we recommend adding on a night or two...)
