Overview
Namibia means ‘place of great arid plains’. Towering sand dunes, remote and desolate coastlines and endless stretches of open desert combine to form one of the most beautiful places on earth. It offers an exhilarating and varied safari experience.
Namibia is a vast country, so this 9 night/10 day scheduled departure safari gives you the chance to experience this magnificent country, travelling as part of a small group. The Namibia Under Canvas Safari is designed to offer a true “back to nature” experience. Going back to the roots of safari, the camps are semi-permanent and seasonal. You will be able to go to sleep hearing only the noisy silence of the desert and to wake up to a chorus that announces the start of a new day.

Tailor-made Options & Optional extension:
Please note that this small group safari tour has set dates for 2024 and 2025, typically departing on Friday. You also have the option to extend your safari for an additional one or two nights in Okonjima.
You will almost certainly need to stay a night in Windhoek before the tour unless you land super early in the morning the tour departs. You may well also want to stay on for a night after the tour, maybe in the city but maybe somewhere more 'ranch-like' with a greater sense of space, outside the capital.
