Southern Horizons in Style is a sophisticated 7-night safari that delves into the remote and wildlife-rich landscapes of southern Tanzania. Far removed from the well-trodden northern circuit, this journey reveals a wilder, quieter side of the country, where vast wildlife reserves, powerful rivers and low visitor numbers define the safari experience.

Safari Description
Your adventure begins with an overnight stay in Dar es Salaam, offering a gentle transition into Africa. The following day, you set off to explore the wildlife-rich and immense wilderness of Β Nyerere National Park. Formerly known as the Selous Game Reserve, Nyerere is one of Africa’s largest protected areas and remains one of its most untouched. Over three nights at Roho ya Selous, explore a landscape shaped by rivers and lakes that sustain extraordinary concentrations of wildlife, including some of the continent’s largest populations of elephant, buffalo, hippo, crocodile and African wild dog. The sense of scale and solitude here is unrivalled.
From Nyerere, you fly onward to the wild Ruaha National Parkfor three nights in one of East Africa’s most remote and least explored safari destinations. Ruaha’s dramatic scenery is surprisingly varied with baobab-studded plains, rocky granite kopjes, riverine forests and woodland valleys. Staying at an exclusive lodge, Jabali Ridge, Β set far from other camps, you experience a deep immersion into the wild, where sightings of lion, leopard and large herds of plains game are accompanied by a profound sense of isolation and space.
